Through official on-campus student clubs or independent student representatives, SCMA is looking to develop connections with students and programs at Canadian colleges and universities that currently offer programs in supply chain management. The on-campus student clubs and independent student representatives are important groups of student volunteers who work to enhance the relationship between SCMA and their peers and faculty.
The goals of these relationships are to:
- Encourage interest in supply chain programs and careers;
- Provide a liaison between the educational institutions and local SCMA Institute partners, promoting local and national events to the student population;
- Promote the value of student affiliation in SCMA; and
- Increase visibility of SCMA as a career development resource.
