The 2017 In-Residence Week has been set for Monday, May 1 – Friday, May 5, 2017 on the campus of the MacEwan University in Edmonton, Alberta. All sessions will be held within the Robbins Health Learning Centre.

On-site registration opens at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, May 1, 2017. The week will officially conclude Friday, May 5, 2017 at noon.

Attendance at all sessions and participation in a judged case competition at In-Residence Week are requirements for the Supply Chain Management Professional (SCMP) Designation Program.

The program is comprised of a series of daytime sessions with evenings free to work within your teams to improve your case presentation or enjoy the sights of the city, if time allows. A draft of the IRW schedule, to help you plan your stay, will be continuously updated up until March, 2017.

All sessions take place at MacEwan University in Robbins Health Learning Centre and all meals, unless otherwise stated, will be held in The Heart. A special offsite awards dinner for the case competition is planned for Thursday, May 4, 2017.

All meals, except breakfast on Monday, and lunch Friday are included in your In-Residence Week fee. Participants are responsible for arranging their own accommodations. SCMA has facilitated this process by negotiating special rates at various properties in the area for our participants. Please see the accommodations page for a full list of special accommodation rates for IRW participants.

Case Competition

Candidates will be asked to present, in a pre-assigned team, their response to a case study provided at In-Residence Week. Teams will be assigned at the beginning of the week. Presentations will be judged by an expert panel, who will assign a team mark.
