Join your supply chain colleagues for Wednesday night’s Conference Kick-Off at the Canadian Museum for Human Rights, the perfect place to enjoy a memorable evening in a building solely dedicated to the evolution, celebration, and future of human rights. The Conference Kick-Off at the Museum for Human Rights provides you with an opportunity to meet and interact with other delegates, exchange information, and develop valuable connections and contacts.

Canadian museum for human rights tour photoThe evening will commence with a tour of the Canadian Museum for Human Rights from 6:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. The tour will begin by exploring the introduction of human rights, where you will be immersed in a multimedia show where a timeline presents 100 selected moments in human rights history throughout the ages. Next, delegates will explore rights and responsibilities of indigenous people in one of the most dramatic spaces of the Museum. The room encompasses a circular theatre of curved, wooden slats which plays a 360-degree film that shares stories of Indigenous rights and responsibilities, as told through four different generations. Throughout the tour you will explore dozens of Canadian stories, from democratic to language rights, from freedom of conscience to freedom from discrimination. A digital canvas relays stories across a 29-metre screen, while others are told in floor stations and story niches. The tour will conclude by exploring pivotal court cases from different perspectives, and Canada’s evolving legal framework. The Canadian Museum for Human Rights will take you on a journey of inspiration unlike anything you've experienced before.

Festivities will continue into the night with music and a dinner reception from 7:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. in the Bonnie & John Buhler Hall at the Canadian Museum for  Human Rights. The evening will comprise of dinner, music, and drinks that characterize the culinary culture of Winnipeg – unwind, relax, and enjoy the spectacular architecture of this magnificent building.and Canada’s evolving legal framework. The Canadian Museum for Human Rights will take you on a journey of inspiration unlike anything you've experienced before. You don’t want to miss this unique opportunity to tour the first national museum to be built in nearly half a century, and the first outside the National Capital Region!
