On behalf of the Board of Directors, Staff and Members, I am happy that you have found our website and I encourage you to get connected to the Supply Chain Management Association and our nearly 750 supply chain management professionals across B.C. & the Yukon.

You will find that SCMA offers significant opportunities for formal classroom education and seminars as well as on-line supply chain related education with a path to the Supply Management Training (SMT) Diploma, Accredited Diploma in Procurement & Supply Chain Management or the industry leading Supply Chain Management Professional (SCMP) professional designation.

We also offer many learning and networking events that are held on a regular basis including our Leadership and Dinner Series events, Social events, Site/Facility Tours, Annual SCMABC Education Conference and SCMA National events that bring Supply Chain professionals together from across Canada. SCMA announced its new National Strategic Plan in September 2018 and we are working diligently in B.C. and across Canada to develop and execute strategies to enhance the value proposition for our Members and Industry. Key priorities include; expanding learning initiatives, be the voice of supply chain, engage industry to unlock opportunities and continued collaboration across Canada. Our ultimate goal remains to better serve you, our SCM practitioners, in your careers and in the ever changing business environment that is relying more and more on strategic, intelligent, strong, effective Supply Chain Management practitioners.

Chris Bailey, SCMABC’s current President & CEO has been a Supply Chain Management Leader and a proud member of the SCMA for over 25 years. He holds both a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce and a Master’s degree in Executive Management and Leadership from Royal Roads University and has earned three separate SCM professional designations including his SCMP which he received in 2001.
