SCMA launched an online community called the SCMA Knowledge Network. This online community shares similarities with other online tools that members are already using, such as LinkedIn, but there will also be enhanced features not available in those public forums such as: file sharing, a resources library, and more.
We feel that the biggest strength of our community is that it is only accessible to SCMA members. This hopefully will promote higher quality discussions/interactions and discourage/prevent unsolicited sales messages.
SCMA Members are now able to access the site at community.scma.com. Feel free to familiarize yourself with the platform and to engage with it by introducing yourself and engaging with the others already in the community. We encourage you to upload a picture and complete your profile, as it’s always better to interact with someone you can put a face to, rather than a faceless avatar.
Once you log in - with the same login as you use for the SCMA Portal, you can edit your profile information by clicking on the dropdown menu next to your avatar in the upper-right corner.
French Language on SCMA Knowledge Network
Please note that there are limited French language capabilities currently available on the SCMA Knowledge Network. As is often the case, we are subject to the limitations of our technical provider. The current bilingualism feature on the platform is Google Translate, which, as you know, does not provide the highest quality translation. The provider is aware that this will limit them as an international provider and does plan to develop a better multilingual feature in the near future. We do not have a projected timeframe of when this modification will be complete and will inform you when it has been developed.
