Webinar: The Impact of Clear Communication and Collaboration Between Internal Supply Chain and Sales

Information sharing has been cited as one of the major means to enhance supply chain performance. It allows companies to better coordinate their activities with their supply chain partners, leading to increased performance.

It is critical to establish an effective supply chain system to satisfy customers in the competitive market. There are many factors affecting the business performance, such as cost reduction, speed of new-product development, on-time delivery, reduction in inventory, and better interface between/among organizational functions.

This webinar will investigate the effects of collaboration with the sales and supply chain departments and will explore the benefits of collaboration, communication and information-sharing between the two as an important role in improving business performance.

Tania Browne has a proven track record of driving significant business process efficiencies. She has over 15 years of North American experience in supply and demand planning and in supply chain optimization. Tania began her career working for international businesses overseas, in marketing and sales roles, followed by a successful career in management roles in supply chain. She is presently with ConAgra Brands, leading sales, inventory and the operations planning process for the Canadian business. She holds a Master's Degree in Business Administration from Creighton University in Nebraska.

David Weeden is an accomplished leader in the industrial distribution industry, with over 35 years of experience in procurement management and sales leadership. David leads a team of 60 sales representatives and category sales specialists across Canada in assisting Tenaquip Limited’s customers in recognizing cost savings within their everyday procurement needs of MRO, safety and material-handling products through implementation of both hard and soft cost savings initiatives while providing consistency and control at the customer level.
