SCMAO vigorously encourages volunteer participation and provides opportunities for involvement at all levels of the organization.
Volunteers on the national and provincial boards are actively engaged in the leadership and governance of SCMA and SCMAO. As members and program participants their involvement on program planning councils help ensure they are getting the programs and services they need. Our talented and enthusiastic volunteers do not shy away from lending a hand wherever they are needed, from providing administrative support within the SCMAO office, to helping with promotional/marketing activities, visiting schools and post-secondary institutions to make presentations to students and even invigilating examinations. Below are some ways you can get involved today.

New: Volunteer Regional Ambassadors and Advisors!
This is your opportunity to shape SCMAO in your community, give back to the industry, and influence the leaders of tomorrow. The Volunteer Regional Ambassador (VRA) is the lead to a local committee of Advisors who help shape the professional development and networking activities in your local market, all the while earning up to 10 CPD points and a $410 credit towards membership dues or SCMAO Events in your region.

Not ready to be an Ambassador, but still want to give back to your local industry community? We're also looking for volunteers to work with the Volunteer Regional Ambassadors in the local advisory groups.
