Supply chain professionals are confronted with evolving changes concerning the growing demands and requirements of various markets. Being on the lookout for new trends can make a difference in terms of risk management and the benefits that result from it. The association's mandate includes providing its members with professional development opportunities such as seminars, conferences, webinars and classroom training in order to achieve the goal of fostering knowledge and becoming supply chain leaders.
Strategic links can be developed with the employer community by demonstrating the relevance and high quality of the training offered by our Association. By making employers aware of the value offered by our profession, the Association and the SCMP designation, we will help all our members benefit from increased visibility with employers who are searching for supply chain professionals.
The SCMP is the highest and best known designation in the Canadian supply chain industry. This designation is awarded to those who successfully complete the training program. The Association wishes to ensure holders are assured that the designation remains a benchmark of excellence based on its reputation and its relevance to the supply chain management industry.
In terms of activities, the members of the Board are redoubling their efforts to offer major events such as the 5@7 lectures that offer benefits such as networking opportunities. Our renowned guest speakers have a deep understanding of issues related to the supply chain. As a result, these events help gain more knowledge and understanding of the reality within various organizations.
